flowers in winter

I adore Cynthia Rowley Simplicity patterns. I finally got around to making #2512. I sort of made a more casual, dressed-down version of the skirt, using a jersey knit fabric, and completely getting rid of the zipper in the back. It's a nice, stretchy, warm skirt that I can wear in the winter. The pattern was super easy, I only really used the waistband portion, and devised the skirt myself by cutting a large rectangle, and pleating. Turned out very nice :)
