1948 dress progress

I got very far today on the 1948 dress muslin I'm working on. All I need are a couple fitting alterations and I think it should be just right. This pattern was ridiculously easy (Vogue Vintage 2787) I really just couldn't believe it. I would really like to try this pattern again but in olive green (can you imagine?!). For my muslin I used a scrap of really cheap stretchy, velvety fabric I found at a charity shop. I would definitely like to try it in a more high quality fabric next.

happy sewing!
