morning projects

I got up early this morning and started this project. I found an old children's dress at the local charity shop and I loved the cute vintage fabric and thought I could find a way to use it for something. It had a large gathered skirt, which I removed from the bodice, and it was more than enough to make a blouse!

It was inspired by a 1940s blouse pattern I have. I just gave it a tie neck instead of buttons. I'm planning on making a skirt to go with it.
