But, I've finally overcome the struggle and made some space for myself and bought all new stuff so we're back in business! However I'm going to try and make up for all the months of posting projects that I failed to do in that time period!
I made this blouse this past week from a great little 1970s sewing pattern I found at an estate sale (I can't find it otherwise I'd post). It was the easiest shirt pattern I've ever used and the fit was great once I made a couple pattern tweaks. I found the fabric at JOMAR'S in South Philly. Only $1/yard!
I love how this turned out. I decided to do snaps instead of buttons to give it a clean face. The cuffs are sewn in by hand. I absolutely love it, it's perfect for summer and oh so vintage! I also was on vacation to visit my family in Montana last month and found this amazing vintage Emmett Kelly ventriloquist dummy! He's quite the charmer.
Project powered by the BERNINA 330 Series!
